Why this site exists
Most calculator sites give you a number and nothing else. You get a monthly payment with no sense of what it costs you overall, or a health figure with no idea what it is based on. Then you close the tab none the wiser.
CalcuLane is built the other way round. Every calculator gives you the number you came for, the numbers behind it, and a plain-English explanation of what it actually means for you. No sign-up, no email wall, and no app to install.
How the calculators are built
- Standard formulas, stated openly. Every calculator page shows the formula it uses and works through an example, so you can check the result yourself.
- Checked before publication. Each calculator is tested using sample inputs and reviewed whenever its formula or assumptions change.
- Calculator inputs stay private. Calculations are processed in your browser, and the values you enter are not stored by CalcuLane.
- Designed for different devices. CalcuLane works across modern phones and computers, with support for relevant currencies and units.
What this site is not
CalcuLane gives general information, not professional advice. The calculators cannot see your full situation, such as your lender's fees, local tax rules, or medical history. Use the results to understand your options and ask better questions, then confirm anything important with a qualified professional. There is more detail on our disclaimer page.
How the site is paid for
CalcuLane is free to use. Advertising may be shown alongside the calculators to help cover running costs. Ads never affect the calculation or result, and no calculator is ranked or written to favour an advertiser.

CalcuLane is operated by WadihFree OÜ, an Estonian company.
